                 Prov 31

An Aide simply means an assistant, A helper, Someone who supports the journey of His or Her master.

An aide is calm under pressure.  Wiling  with his/her master

The no1 Aide of every man of God is the wife

Genesis 2:18 KJV

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

That's the design of God, then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.

The Lord knew the man needed an assistant (a supporter / aide) He didn't get him a friend in another man,  or an angel or an animal but a Woman.

The destiny helper for any Leader to flourish in life lies FIRST IN HIS WIFE

IF YOU ARE A MAN  AND YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN MARRIED.  YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE THAN TO STAY GLUED WITH GOD'S PERFECT WILL

YOUR personal CHOICE will be DIFFICULT for you to HANDLE,  BE CAREFUL NOT TO FALL FOR VAIN THINGS LIKE BEAUTY,  MATERIAL THINGS. etc...

God has a design for your life inside it lies in the hand of A FANTASTIC destiny assistant or destiny helper, don't be so much in a haste to choose a destiny destroyer.

As a man of God,  don't try to get an assistant the worldly way, you are not ordinary anymore,  YOU ARE AN EXTENSION OF DIVINITY HERE ON EARTH. WHEN YOU Enter THE REALMS OF THE SPIRIT,  A PLACE OF COMPLETE BROKENNESS,  WHEN YOU DIE TOTALLY TO SELF,  you become an immortal who is dead but living,  YOU BECOME a god(Psalm 82:6 I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High) and as a god,  you are expected to choose from the realms of the immortal.

Don't choose an assistant out of desperation,  or depression or anxiety.

You are to find and choose sir.( God ordain wife or appointed by God, not with facial or bodily attractions)*

Finding takes process

And Ma's( the waiting ladies to be a wife to a Man Of God),  you are to make yourself available to be searched for and found, Don't go into hiding spiritually (by staying in darkness and not taking your place as a good assistant)or physically(by not being ready in character)

If you are already married,  There's need for nurturing that seed that God has placed in your hand and develop her to a standard God wants her to get to

Never expect a perfect woman to fall from above,  A PERFECT WILL OF GOD NEEDS YOUR ASSISTANT TO ALIGN WITH CALL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE

Quickly let's look at some Attributes of an assistant.

ATTRIBUTES OF A PREACHER'S*

(Note: These Attributes goes for other Assistants too)

AS A WIFE AND ASSISTANT OF A LEADER AND A PASTOR, YOU HAVE TWO ROLES TO PLAY.

1. THE ROLE OF A WIFE.

THE OTHER IS THE ROLE  OF A CHIEF ASSISTANT

There are certain things expected of you as you discharge these God given duties.

2. Be a good Lover of both your husband and his ministry, If you don't love,  you can't connect with the ministry of your husband.  Love is a commandment for all.  It's a must you love.

True Love leads to Submission.

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Ephesians 5:22‭-‬23‭, ‬25 KJV

You can't claim you love without submitting to the person you Love.  Love respects and submits. 

Submission to His opinion as your head. My love for my husband is continually tried and tested

i. I have had days of compulsory fasting.

ii. I have had days of emotional attacks from critics etc.

  ⚡Be prepared to love (at all cost, be a dogged lover of your husband without repentance or doubtful mind)

⚡ Make sure you understand your husband's ministry and then help him to bloom...

⚡No tree is built in a day.

 Many Young pastors wives are not prepared to go through the journey but they want to enjoy the fame...

No good tree produces fruit in one day. Be ready to journey along.

HOSPITALITY

Hospitality is part of our duty as a nice assistant.  If you don't accept others,  you chase away good people from your husband's ministry.

Titus 1:7-8  to be a pastor and a correct assistant pastor you must be these listed below.

“Because an overseer/pastor is God’s servant manager, he must be blameless. He must not be arrogant or irritable.

He must not be subjected to alcoholic drink

He must not be a violent person, or make money in shameful ways.

He must be hospitable to strangers,

He must appreciate what is good, and be sensible, honest, moral, and self-control.”

We will always have visitors. No secrecy in pastoring. A good shepherds home must be opened to all.

I remember days of feeding others without me eating.  As much as its good to take care of yourself too,  you must put others in mind.

Caveat: 

Some God's Generals wives died earlier than their time because of ignorance

Don't over do things (alone).

Don't take care of others and ignore your well being.( it must go together ceteric peribus)

Do know

👉YOU ARE NEEDED ALIVE FOR YOUR LEADER TO SUCCEED.  HELP HIM BY TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF TOO.

 INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP SKILLS 

Interpersonal relationship skills is highly needed

👉Keeps open lines of communications. This communication obviously works both ways. (The pastor) your husband must communicate his  expectations clearly and consistently with you. You as the chief assistant must always keep the leader (your husband) informed and, as much as possible, (Do well to) avoid surprises.

👉You must (Pro actively) practise and learn to stand in the gap for your husband.

👉When your husband is called,  then you are call. because the bible says two shall become one. Your role might just be different.

👉THE (MINISTERIAL ASSIGNMENT) DEMANDS YOU WORK BOTH WAYS AND COMMUNICATE BOTH WAYS TOO. (As a loving wife, a love giver, and also as your husband councilor and adviser with respect)

👉John G. Lake has a healing anointing while his wife had the prophetic gift.  His wife diagnoses in the Spirit while He heals with the power of God.

 

👉If she had been a woman to herself only without having relational skills with her husband and others,  their ministry might fail,  thereby disappointing God.

👉Don't be a nonchalant assistant that can't stand up to challenges when the need arises.*

👉👉Be a readily prepared soldier

👉👉Be Prayerful

 👉👉A PRAYER LESS CHRISTIAN is a POWERLESS CHRISTIAN.

I thank God for grace,  God has helped me to prayed for 10hours at a stretch before and I am still pressing on.

1These 5:16: The bible says PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.

AN ASSISTANT THAT DOES NOT CARRY FIRE LIKE HER LEADER WOULD SOON PUT SUCH LEADER INTO TROUBLE.

The work of an assistant is very spiritual.  Don't try to dull the atmosphere of the spirit, your husband is building with a bad attitude( of your prayer less)

When people ask me if I'm a pastors wife,  I tell them, God called me to fill that space.

👉👉Don't be lazy..

So many assistants are so lazy they can't get up to do the needful.

👉👉It's not in praying for hours that matter but aligning to the image of God always.

👉👉Don't be a stumbling block to your husband's ministry but be a stepping stone to his success

(As a wife to a man of God) We are warriors on our knees ( not a window shoppers)

👉👉Take charge and be at alert always.

By God's grace in ministrations we go for,  manifestations of the spirit happens in diverse dimension.  It's not because we are perfect but because there's need to STAND AND STAY IN THE SECRET PLACE AND CONQUER.( power of the secret place can not be over look)

👉👉Be strong in faith and in strength

One of the toughest things you will face is dealing with cantankerous/ wicked people(both spiritually and physically) its by strong faith. Some of them want to criticize your husband and pull him down. Some of them want to get to your husband through you

👉👉Ministerial assignment is tough and also lovely

👉👉Ministry has critics

👉👉The chief assistant has to deal with them on a regular basis

👉👉Be Proactive and flexible.

👉👉No two days are alike in the ministry.

👉👉Ministry demands may come in waves and with great surprises. You must always be anticipating the next thing. And the assistant must be flexible to meet the demands as they come.

😃A sister once confronted us that the power we use in ministry was too much for upcoming ministers.  She challenged us and painted us bad in front of people

😃It took a prayer on my kneel to silence the devil using her.

🙏She came to apologize after a year and said something told her to do that

👉👉God is not looking for fashionistas, he is looking for spiritual giants to take over the kingdom He has given to us.

👉👉YOU HAVE TO BE (PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY) STRONG AT ALL TIMES.

👉👉DON'T  LET  YOUR EMOTIONS GET A HOLD OF YOU TO THE EXTENT OF CHATTERING THE WORK OF GOD IN YOUR HANDS.

👉👉STORMS WILL COME,  BE STRONG.

👉👉LIFE WILL POSE IT'S CHALLENGES,  FIGHT ON.

 

👉👉A TIME OF TWILIGHT/ SPIRITUAL WEAKNESSES, JUST KEEP MOVING ON WITH GREATER AND FAINT LESS FAITH.

👉The list is inexhaustible.

👉👉Finally Be Competent: 

You might have expected it to come first but here is it at last, Learn new ways to be better.

👉STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD.

👉BE AN ADDICTED READER OF BOOKS INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, (I have discovered we have so many demon inspired books written in Christian format)

👉Your number one teacher is the Holy Ghost.  Be willing to obey and be broken, die to self and REMEMBER YOU WERE BORN TO FULFIL THIS MISSION.

👉With God on our side,  WE SUCCEED.*

Things to do

1. Genuinely repented from all known sin is non negotiable 

2. Be faithful to your husband

3. Be  a prayer born

4. Read book and seek wisdom at all time

5. Be open minded and transparent to your spouse, never have or keep a secret life

6. Never think or intended to be prefer above your husband

7 To the yet to be married : made yourself searchable, be patient, be supportive, don't expect the perfect one but bring out the perfection in him/her

Prayer Point

O lord my God help me to fulfil in the ministry you have endowed on me in Jesus name

Every satanic anxiety and manipulations to derailed me from this journey be paralysed and useless in Jesus name

Help me lord to be strong and overcome in the time of twilight and spiritual weakness in Jesus name

O lord my Father and My God, grant me wisdom and understanding to discharge my duties as preachers aide effectively in Jesus name (for ladies)

O lord of our father bless me with an aide. Suitable for my understanding to fire more in my line of ministry in Jesus name ( for brothers)

I shall not fail my duty as your ordain minister/aide in Jesus

 I RECEIVE GRACE TO BE A GREAT ASSISTANT IN JESUS NAME
